These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by TheNudnik ("Nudnik," "we," "us," or "our"), including our WhatsApp-based task management bot and our website at https://thenudnik.com (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By messaging our WhatsApp bot or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Nudnik
Nudnik (נודניק) is a WhatsApp bot that helps families and households manage shared tasks and send automatic reminders. You interact with Nudnik entirely through WhatsApp — there is no separate app to install.
2. Eligibility
In Short: You must be at least 18 years old to use Nudnik.
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of legal majority in your country, if higher — to use Nudnik. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you become aware that a minor is using the Service without parental consent, please contact us at support@thenudnik.com.
3. The Service
In Short: Nudnik helps you create tasks and send reminders inside WhatsApp. The bot processes your messages only to provide this functionality.
Nudnik allows you to:
- Create and assign household or family tasks via WhatsApp messages
- Receive automatic reminders when tasks are due or overdue
- Track task status for members of your group
To deliver these features, Nudnik processes the content of messages you send to the bot. We do not use your message content for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. WhatsApp & Third-Party Platforms
In Short: Nudnik runs on top of WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own rules still apply to you, and we are not responsible for changes WhatsApp makes to its platform.
Nudnik is a third-party service that operates through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are separate from these Terms and are not under our control.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
Because Nudnik depends on WhatsApp's infrastructure, any disruption, change, or discontinuation of the WhatsApp platform — including changes to its API policies — may affect or terminate the Service. We are not liable for any such disruptions.
5. Acceptable Use
In Short: Use Nudnik for lawful household task management only. Do not abuse, spam, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk automated messages
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or third parties through the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or WhatsApp's infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service or applicable law
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity to Nudnik or other users
We reserve the right to suspend or block access to any user who violates these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
The Nudnik name, logo, website content, and bot logic are owned by TheNudnik and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right in the Service or our intellectual property.
You retain ownership of any content you send to the bot. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
In Short: The Service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or results.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- Reminders will be delivered on time in all circumstances
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Reminder delivery depends on WhatsApp's platform and your device's connectivity. We are not responsible for missed reminders caused by factors outside our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
In Short: Our liability to you is limited. We are not responsible for indirect losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheNudnik and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, missed deadlines, or other losses — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose or (b) fifty Israeli shekels (₪50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep Nudnik available at all times, but we may interrupt, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service — or any part of it — at any time, with or without notice. This may happen for maintenance, legal requirements, security issues, or changes in WhatsApp's platform policies.
Where possible, we will give you reasonable advance notice of significant changes or discontinuation.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing Nudnik from your WhatsApp group.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access would create legal or security risks. Sections 6, 8, 9, and 13 of these Terms survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
In Short: We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, or our practices. The updated version will always show the revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, by sending a message through the bot or posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel, for any disputes arising under these Terms.
